We decided to hit one more place before the year 2017 ends. We chose Dhen Yho’s Place in Kapatagan, Digos City. We chose that place because it’s overlooking, the weather is cool and a nice place to chill and unwind together with your friends and family.

It’s a 3-4 hours drive from Davao City. We got there by lunchtime and the weather is breezy. Dhen Yho’s location is on uphill so be prepared to lose your breath going up. The caretakers were very accommodating and nice. They prepared our room. The room is nice and clean. We had our own bathroom inside.
From the terrace, I enjoyed the view. It was gloomy but still looking good. I was waiting for the clouds to clear so that I can see Mt. Apo’s peak. Unfortunately, Mt. Apo didn’t show up the whole day. The caretaker said it’s by chance and mostly it will show up early in the morning and afternoon.

So we just roamed around and took a lot of photos. They had a lot of nice landscapes. They had a restaurant that serves affordable food. But you can bring food with you, no corkage charge.

Who loves art? Well if you do, you’ll surely know who Kublai Millan is. Kublai is an artist in Mindanao. He made giant sculptures. When you visit Dhen Yho’s Place, check the awesome Kublai Art Garden, located just beside Dhen Yho’s Place. It took us more than 1 hour to satisfy ourselves checking every art sculptures then of course, picture taking.

After that, we went swimming. The water is very cold like you are swimming with ice. I cannot remember how many cups of coffee I drank that day.

I woke up early to see the sunrise, but then showed only little sun rays, then it began to rain. Oh, poor me. Then afternoon before we left Dhen Yho’s Place, the sky became clear and Mt. Apo is smiling at me. Charot! One day, I will conquer the grandfather of all Philippine mountains.
So guys check out Dhen Yho’s Place if you haven’t been there yet. It’s a recommended place to chill and relax.
