I started the year 2018 with a solo trip to Gumasa, Glan, Sarangani. It was one of the rewarding travel experience. It’s my second time traveling solo. I am a January baby, and this is a birthday gift to myself.

June 2018: Datu Sicao Falls
My Datu Sicao climb is memorable too with group of friends from Toril! We thought Datu Sicao Falls is a friendly climb, but turns out it was a challenging one! Had a great time with good friends in Datu Sicao Falls plus we experienced the local cultures, learned about the brooms product they had and about the Sicao ancestral domains and as well as discovered the Tres Marias waterfalls.

July 2018: Mt. Kalatungan Traverse Mt. Wiji Humanitarian Climb
My second ascend to Mt. Kalatungan traverse Mt. Wiji or originally known as Mt. Lumpanag. This time, it’s a climb with a purpose. It’s lovely to meet different people from different locations but has one the same goal – to help the community. It’s a rewarding and amazing feeling you helped and contributed in the local community even in just a small way. I joined the PDA – Purpose Driven Adventures, they were inspiring and had many new mountain friends!
