Travel Guide to Mantigue Island in Camiguin

Mantigue Island is located near Balingoan Port in Camiguin Island. Mantigue Island also known as Magsaysay Island is a small 4.4-hectare island off the coast of Mahinog. Its beauty lies in the white powdery beaches, its amazing coral reefs, and clear blue waters. Considered a marine sanctuary, it has been a frequent spot for diving enthusiasts.

It was the last tourist attraction we visited although Mantigue Island is more accessible compared to all tourist attractions in Camiguin Island. Sitting at the boat, Mantigue Island is almost at reach. Love the whole island view. The sun is very hot that day ready to grill my skin. Unlike White Island, Mantigue Island has a lot of shades with restaurants available and tables under the trees.

The water was also pristine, clean and crystal clear. The shore is wide, clean with fine white sand. The food is also affordable. Mantigue Island is ideal for beach camping. Aside from the refreshing water, there is a nature park available on the island. Would love to come back to Camiguin and camp here overnight.

We took unlimited photos right under the sun. After a few minutes, we returned to the main port, washed up and get ready going back to Davao City.
