Another nice swimming pool in Davao City is the Villa Carmelita Inland Resort and Hotel. It’s new name was Ermelyn’s Inland Resort but Villa Carmelita is the common and known name. Villa Carmelita Inland Resort and Hotel has a huge swimming pool for adult, elevated part is 7 feet and it has kid’s pool for 3 feet. Kids would also enjoy 3 slides and other amenities like playground.
Villa Carmelita is located in Toril Davao City, we spend many weekends here since it’s near to our location. We spotted many guests here celebrated birthdays and other occasions. We will try that soon – think it’s a good idea since we love swimming. I love the swimming pool too because it’s huge, elevated from shallow to deep water (the area fronting the hotel is deep) and lots of slides which our kids love.
They offer air conditioned rooms too for overnight stay. Ideal if you want to staycation for a while or few days. The room is decent, spacious and with veranda overlooking fronting the pool. When you book a hotel in Villa Carmelita, the entrance and parking is via the other side of the road. When you book for a day tour only, the entrance and parking space is fronting the main road of Toril – main road, where Toril PUJs and buses passed by.
They have a restaurant as well and mini store. They serve short orders such as grilled chicken, pork, fish and other goodies. They serve snacks, like ice cream which our kids love it so much! They also serve soft and hard drinks and other beverages. You can bring foods too for a low corkage, Php40.00 for food corkage and Php20.00 for drinks. The entrance fee is only Php100.00.
Swimming pool is open until 10:00PM. You can stay overnight by booking a room on Villa Carmelita Hotel. It’s quite expensive; 1 room good for 2 is Php 2,500 for an overnight stay. Check in time at 2pm and check out time is 12noon.

How To Get There
Villa Carmelita Inland Resort and Hotel is located in Km. 14 MacArthur Highway, Toril, Davao City. It can easily be found because it’s location is just along the high way. From Davao City proper, take a PUJ heading to Toril. Tell the driver that you are headed to Villa Carmelita. It’s just along the highway, you can spot it easily. A walking distance from Chowking Toril and Felcris supermarket in Toril.
