Living a long time in Davao City, just recently I heard about Campo Agua Resort in Sirawan Toril Davao City. We recently moved to Sirawan so exploring this area, we discovered the Campo Agua Resort. We didn’t book ahead since the location is near to us. It was a short ride and upon entering the resort, you’ll get a natural vibes. The surroundings are calm, the trees welcomed us, they actually had a great and relaxing view.
Campo Agua is a nature type resort that is good for family bonding and team building activities. Campo Agua is a nice place for a short family trip or get together or simply wanting to relax. They offer day tours only, no closed cottages or rooms at the moment. On the Day tour, you can do a lot here.

How to Get There
Campo Agua Resort is only a 1 hour ride from town proper. It is located along Sirawan highway and it is so easy to locate.
From Toril Proper via Tricycle, Motorcycles, PUJ, Taxi
- Go to Sirawan, taking the Cotabato-Kidapawan road.
- You’ll pass by the Mango Juice factory, and the task force check point.
- Near Magnolia Chicken, you can see signage Campo Agua on the left side road.
- Tricycles, motorcycles and taxis are able to take you at the main entrance.
- For Jeepney, jump off to the main road where you can see the signage and walk towards the resort entrance.
- For private cars, same route

Rates and Fees
Entrance fee is only Php 60.00 inclusive of cottage and swimming pool.
Inside you can enjoy a cool nature ambiance. They have swimming pool but only 3 feet, ideally for kids.
They have a lot of fish ponds where you can fish – fishes variaties are Tilapia, Bangus and Hito.
Captured Tilapia will only cost Php 70.00.
Fishing rod rent is only Php 5.00
Fish bait cost Php 20.00.
Things to Do in Campo Agua
Fishing
What I like most in Campo Agua Resort was the fishing activity. You must try the fishing activity, its fun! The fishing experience is worth to try specially if you have kids, for sure they will enjoy it. The fishes in the pond varies fromTilapia, Bangus and Hito. Every catch you can buy it per kilo. You can also grill it as well in the resort but at the time we went there, fishes were still small. We are planning to come back and fish again, hoping we can experience a big catch.
Swimming
They have small swimming pool. Ideal for kids. It’s not very deep but you can still enjoy swimming. Swimming in the lake/pond is not allowed.
Picnic
You can have a family picnic, bring foods you’d like and set a nice blanket on the ground and do fishing at the same time. It’s perfect!
Campo Agua Amenities
The place is also clean, nice cottages and friendly service crews. The overall area is well maintained. The fish ponds are clean too. For amenities, they only offer swimming and fishing. They have a little playground too for kids. Campo Agua promised to make your visit worthwhile for short family trips.
Food & Drinks
You can bring food with no corkage. They are serving food and drinks as well. The fish you caught can be served as well. Just ask them to cook it for you. Their food is decent too and tastes good. We ordered deep fried Hito and it was so mouth watering. Can’t wait to go back there and catch a huge hito.

Conclusion
I had a great time fishing in Campo Agua. Though the fishes like tilapia weren’t big enough at that time, I enjoyed the experience. It is actually great for family quick getaway. Ideal for picnics and just relaxing and letting the time set.
